I scored a pair of Sound Dynamics Reference series R616s for only $100 CDN on the weekend. The cabinets are a bit scratched up but the drivers are perfect. I was looking for some nice towers to replace the Mirage M760s that I foolishly sold years ago. Stereophile raved over the R616s and to my ears they have much of the same magic that the M760s provided. Any other 616 owners out there? What do you think of them? Also, the guy who sold them said he bought them new in 2002. I'm sure they weren't in production that recently (started in 1993 ended ?) Thanks in advance.
