Sound cutting out

Recently got a Sony 77”A80J and hooked up my new Klipsch surround with Denon X1600H. I’m on Directv. Frequently when I change channels or pause a show I get no sound. When the new channel comes on or I unpause the show. I accidentally figured out that if I change the channel to one specific channel the sound comes back but this is very annoying. Anyone know why it does this and/or how to fix it?

Could be hdmi handshake problems to an extent, could partially be changing codecs and the need for gear to make changes to accommodate. I had some similar experiences with DirecTV gear before I got rid of them altogether. Maybe a soft or hard reset could help....
