Just watched the documentary about the Sound City Recording Studio. I really enjoyed this. They cover more than just the 'big' names that recorded there.
There's a discussion about analog vs. digital, how the sound board worked and the history of the studio and the equipment.

Recommended.

I absolutely love the movie. Also, the soundtrack is REALLY GOOD too. It also seems to be very well-recorded and very well-mixed, not a surprise.

I love the Lee Ving track (Wife is Calling), but I'm also an old-school Fear fan, and I didn't realize their first album was recorded there until I saw the film.

I'm not really a fan of Stevie Nicks either, but WOW, she does an awesome job on her track. Movie was good, soundtrack is good, and I was completely blown away by a few of the tracks on there.

All and all, I enjoyed both movie and soundtrack a LOT more than I expected to.

Yeah. I heard a couple of tracks on youtube. Got the CD from the library today. It's good.

Sorry, Afterlife2. I should have searched before I posted this.
