i just got some klipsch promedia 2.1s and now i need a good sound card for my laptop. Since dell doesn't have any cardbus slots and only a express slot i cant get the audigy 2 zs. I am looking for an external usb sound card. I was looking at the audigy 2 nx but it doesnt decode dts. Will the nx be good for the speakers i have or does anyone know of a sound card that is in the $120 price range which will rival or be better than the audigy 2 nx.? Or should i wait till one day an express slot sound card will be released(which i heard through the grape vine is in july sometime.... maybe)
Also i know that the usb port uses a decent amount of processor bandwith and will this be a problem. for example with gaming an music at once or am i just talking crazy.(p.s. i have core duo 2.0 GHz and 2 gigs ram) Please help
