So guys I just recently found out why my ps3 wouldn't play anything in Dolby or anything so I fixed that and everything seems to work fine but now I'm watching a show on Netflix and it says it plays in 5.1 Dolby and my avr says DD+.. No sound at all from rear surrounds any ideas?

It could be that the show you’re watching simply has no surround effects, especially if it is programming that was made for TV (as opposed to a movie).

Yeah I'm sure thats it. I watched one that didn't even say 5.1 and the music plays through the rears and movies from Netflix play correctly just ridiculously quiet out the rears
