I'm very close to pulling to trigger to buy the Sony projector mentioned; it's also paired with an 80" Sony screen (vps-80ds) - which I may just throw on ebay.
The reviews I've been able to find were promising but I wanted to see if anyone in here has demo'ed or owns one.
The specs look great on it - I think the 12000:1 contrast ratio is a little deceiving but it's unbeatable for around $1000.00. The box itself is kinda large/heavy but I'll be mounting it anyways.
I'll be using it in a room with zero ambient light. We're still working on the layout but I will probably be using a screen around 92 to 120" when everything is said and done (unless that is a bad idea).
Has anyone has experience with Sony projector warranty support? I don't plan on having trouble but I'm curious how they handle repairs etc.
Anyone's experience or advise is appreciated.
