Sony STR-DE845 power capacitor question

Hi everyone, I have the above A/V receiver that is about 12 years old or so. I am having problems with the buttons on the right, the mute board I believe. From what I've read on the net it is a problem with the solder joints, which I am going to resolder. While I am in there I was going to test some of the caps on the power supply boards and replace if necessary. I have all of the capacitors I would need, except for the two 10,000uF 71V Nichicon caps. I am wondering if I should just order a pair and throw them in or are they pretty reliable and have plenty of life left in them? They are the Gold Tune series BTW. Any feedback would be appreciated!!

The 845 was my first ever receiver. I think it came out in 2000.
I agree with the poster above me that it is not worth replacing stuff on an old and very dated receiver. $200 today gets you a much better receiver with tons of features and better sound than the 845.
