Anyone have a Sony STR-DE675 AV Receiver or are familiar with the EQ on it?
I want to make sure that I have it crossed over so my sub handles the "right" frequencies.
My fronts are new Polk RTi4's, Center is a new Polk CSi3, and my surrounds are some old Sony Satellites. My sub is also an old Sony sub from a 5.1 satellite speaker system.
The owners manual for the receiver is useless since it doesn't help in explaining the EQ part. Basically says to turn it on if you want to use it and set the bass and treble where you want it. I hear no difference wh=ith it on or off so I am not even sure it is working. (any suggestions on what to use to check whether the crossover is working or not?)
Any thoughts or suggestions? A new reciever is not in the budget for some time since I think I want to upgrade my sub next.
