Sony SS-MF750H vs. Advent AS2

I'm in the market for an inexpensive pair of floor speakers and am having a difficult time trying to decide between these two speakers. Any input would me much appreciated. Also are there any other recommendations for a nice pair of inexpensive floor speakers?? Thank you..

i'm looking at a max of maybe $200 for a pair of floor speakers, but also i'm particularly interested in knowing which one of the speakers that I previously mentioned has a better sound for playing music.. Also I was looking at a pair of Advent Laureate speakers and was wondering how they would compare... Once again any input would be greatly appreciated... Thank you...

That's a real tight budget. Have you looked at Athena? The AS-F1s should be within your budget. Much better, but more expensive are the AS-F2s.

I've heard the Sonys you mentioned and was very unimpressed.

Do have have any photos or links to these speakers? Athena's are very highly rated for the money, but are tough to find as they are in a transition stage with new models coming out. Their tweeters are smooth, and you'll get much better bass from the 8" woofer.

Has anyone heard of either of these two companies: Celestion and SDAT?? The two particular models that I am looking at are the SDAT SB-E639D and the Celestion F30. Are they anygood and moreover how do they compare with the other models that have been mentioned such as the Sonys, Advents and Athenas?? Thank you...

Fluance SV-10

Forgive me for throwing in so many questions, but as I continue my research I seem to come across various different speaker manufacturers. The one in particular that interests me are the Fluance SV-10 speakers. I've been hearing good things about them and was wondering how they compare with the various speakers that I have mentioned before. Once again any input would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!!
