Sony receiver strdg-800 And KLH sound funny.

I own a Sony STRDG-800 receiver and KLH surround sound system with 8" 125watts powered sub. When I was watching Transformers the movie it sounded like my sub was going in and out. Expecialy at the major action parts when they have music in the backgound. I know I do not have the best setup that money can buy, I am just starting out and need some help making what I own for now work the best that it can untill I can afford better stuff.

The subwoofer is being overdriven. I got one of those on the cheap once and it had the same issue. I would start saving for a better subwoofer.

This is about the best Bang for Buck you can get in the lower range priced subwoofers. Everyone that I have talked to that owns this subwoofer is very impressed with it given the price.
