What does anyone think of Sony Qualia 010 $2600.00 headphones?You have to wrap a piece of paper around your head to measure for them.

What does anyone think of Sony Qualia 010 $2600.00 headphones?You have to wrap a piece of paper around your head to measure for them.

While some might enjoy this headphone, it sounded to me like it had a prominent coloration(upper midrange resonance of considerable magnitude). If you happen to like such a coloration(some have claimed they like this headphone a great deal), then I suppose it's cool. To me, however, it(resonance) sounded annoying. The headphone did look neat in person.

The sold as measured size bit is rediculous. No excuse for that -- I suspect it's purpose is to make the buyer feel special(custom sized just for 'me' factor).
