Sony Media Player/No sound to amp

Purchased the sony 65" 4k with media player and Denon AVR x4000. I set the receiver up and can't get any sound from the sony media player to the receiver. The receiver works with DVD, Cable. Used the HDMI 2 out from media player to media player input on back of receiver. HDMI 1 on media player to HDMI 4 on the TV input. Have sound from TV only. Any help appreciated

Paradoxically you need to set HDMI audio out on your receiver to off.
