<font color='#000000'>Okay, has anyone had a chance to try one of these out? Sony makes two different one box, DVD/SACD/Recievers (the ADV-S50ES & the ADV-C70ES: the former is a single disc while the latter sports a 5 disc changer).
Now, the rumor is that these units, which feature a propriety digital amp technology somewhat similar to the TriPath chip, manage to sound better than many units at several times the price.
I'm really fascinated with digital amplifier technology. The things run very cool with a minumum of power in a small chassis. Many dyed-in-the-wool tube guys and devotees of monster Class-A SS amps are singing the praises of digital.
The wave of the future? How about a review. At this point, I'd even settle for rumors and innuendo!
