Sony ES DVPNS 3100

A local retailer has the unit on sale for $299 (USD)-has anyone had a bad experience w/this ES line or model...any of the functions that are jiggy?-How is Sony's customer service within the warranty period?
I'm trying to decide between this player & a Marantz 7600 or Denon 1920...any other reccomendations in this price range?

The Marantz by far out classes the other two on your list.
If the prices you're finding on all three are close, (hard to believe), I'd go with the 7600.
The Sony does appear to be a pretty solid unit.
I looked at the Denon 1920 a while back. While it has some nice features, to me it just felt cheap.
