DVD/CD NOVICE

I am looking for a 5 DVD/CD player-easy to install, easy to use, LOW PROFILE and compatible with a 15 year old Sony TV (will eventually upgrade to a LCD tv). It's going in a small living room-I'm not concerned with surround sound, etc.
I saw a SONY DX 255 home theater system advertised. One critique mentioned it has to be loaded one disc at a time-whatever that means-is that a problem? THANKS FOR ANY IMPUT!!!!

Most carousel players you can load 1 or 2 discs at a time? The sony you are speaking of loads a single disc at a time because it's a single tray not a carousel. Go to page 29 of manual model #dav-dx255.

Hope this helps, Bill
PS: I myself don't like that 5 pack format, disc can get easily jammed.

Thanks for the info-the single CD disc defeats my purpose-I want 5 CD's having continuous music-so I have to look for a carousel. Any recommendations?

Hey I wasn't trying to turn you off. I was trying to explain THAT sony player is not a carousel but a front end loader, it can still load 5 discs. Also it's a complete H/T set up. Most HTIB set ups aren't great but if it fills your needs go for it:) .

 Thanks for your reply-sooooooo, (please bear with me) if it's a 5 CD front end player-does that mean it will play them continuously? Also, I have no clue what H/T or HTIB set ups are-just want something that will work with my current TV, easy to set up and use and is low profile.
