Hello everyone! I’m a newbie to Audioholics and this is my second post. Here’s my Home Theater System:
DVD = Sony DVP-NC665P (no HDMI)
AV Receiver = Yamaha RX V663
HDTV = Toshiba 46XV545U
Component (R/G/B) out from DVD & into AV Receiver
TOSLINK out from DVD & into AV Receiver
HDMI out from AV Receiver & into HDTV
1. Is this the most optimal set-up for picture quality or should I run component (R/G/B) straight to the HDTV?
2. Is this the most optimal connection for sound quality or should I run Coaxial Digital out from the DVD into the AV Receiver?
