Sony DE995 verus DA4ES?

<font color='#000000'>I would like to know everyone's opinions about the differences between these two models. &nbsp;I know the STR-DA4ES is the better model than the STR-DE995, however, I would like to know if there is a huge difference.

I have found the DE995 for about $350, and the DA4ES for about $850. &nbsp;

Would the DA4ES be worth the extra $400 for sound quality? or is it just marketing?

<font color='#000000'>The biggest improvement in sound would be to ditch the SONY all togther. &nbsp;Look at Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, H/K or Marantz. &nbsp; They all have receiver's those price ranges that will blow away the Sony receivers. &nbsp;

A couple of models to look at:

Yamaha RX-V1400
Denon 2803
Marantz 6300, 7300
Onkyo 701
&nbsp;
These are just a couple. &nbsp;There are more above and below these price points.

You will never look at Sony again after testing these.
