Sony DDW840 Receiving Not Working

All of a sudden my Sony receiver HT DDW840 won't turn on. I get no display on the main area (which usually says Video1).

I do see a slight orange light on the setup button so it seems like it is getting some power, but nothing in the main display and no sound from the speakers. You can hear the usual slight click when you turn the system on.
This is not a dimming issue on the display. I have tried that.

Anybody heard of problems like this. It's only a little over a year old and it happened very suddenly...just wouldn't turn on one day.

you might check the back of the unit and the manual to see if there are any built-in fuses or mini-breakers that might have blown. you might also try plugging in to another receptacle somewhere else in the house. unfortunately, it's not always the electronics that have gone bad...

Don't see anything about any fuses or circuit breakers. And I tried plugging it into another receptacle.
Very disappointing for a Sony product to go like that in about two years. I have a receiver I got in college -- 20 years ago -- that still works.
