Can anyone tell me what these were about? I bought a pair at a clearence auction, and on both the mid range drivers are open circuit. I've never seen anything like them; what was the idea behing the solid mid range cones; how did they sound? Does anyone know if the mid range drivers can be repaired, or if Sony still make them? If they can't be repaired or replaced with orioginal drivers, is there an equavalent modern driver that would do the job? Ok, enough questions for my first post since this time last year; but I really would appreciate any information you have................. Jim.
