For the price I'm sure it's not terrible. However you'd be better off trying to find a discontinued Denon DHT-485XP or the newer 486. It may cost you a couple hundred more dollars but you'll get a whole lot better performance.

We have an older model Sony HTiB and it isn't bad for the bedroom. I think this will be ok as long as you don't expect much from it...

Do you recomend any seperate speakers that I should get and just chuck the cube speakers?:)

if your on a budget, check my signature. my setup sounds rediculously awesome, and has only cost me about 1300, including the receiver, but not including the sub im about to purchase (another 320). keep in mind all funds are in Canadian dollars, and I spend quite a bit of time shopping around for deals and using ebay.

1300$ is a budget??:eek: I'm looking around 500-600$ canadian.
