I am responding as a side note: Dont buy Sony.
Though they have been known and respected for many years, and many people I know love quality A/V and love Sony, I fear Sony is moving towards the BOSE market (Low Quality, Good Looking, Small Speakers, High Marketing Cost, etc.)
They Just havent been keeping up to date with the higher end audio equipment (cough, cough, cough, Denon, cough, cough, cough). This move to a MENU that is at 1080 shows that Sony is infact more interested in wizy features then in quality sound and video solutions.
Now I wouldnt be mentioning ANY of this if it wasnt for 2 reasons...
A) Many consumer electronics I have bought with SONY on the name have broken.
B) Sony was one of the major players to push through the biggest infringement of free speach (DMCA).
C) My fathers Sony receiver bit my dog.
