Sony 350 vs 550, panny 35 vs 55

Hey guys and gals (if there are any out there):

If i am running my Blu Ray through HDMI to my Reciever, what is the big differences with the above mentioned blu ray players? All capable of 7.1?

If your receiver can decode True-HD and DTS-HD then any of those will do fine. If it can't, then the BD35 is your least expensive option as it's capable of decoding internally and sending PCM over HDMI to the receiver. What receiver do you own?

i am gonna get either the denon 2309ci or denon 2808ci

Both those receivers have HD decoders. The Sony 350 or Panny 35 will do just fine. The 550 and 55 are only useful if you need the player to decode and send the signal out over 7.1 analog for older receivers.
