Sondigo Inferno 7.1 Sound Card with DTS:Connect and Dolby Digital Live On sale for $105 CAD shipped ($89 USD) at NCIX.COM. It sellls for $150USD + shipping on Sondigo's website. Specs, etc: http://www.sondigo.com/inferno I ordered one for myself last night. Its a sweet soundcard with real-time Dolby Digital and DTS *encoding* for cheap considering the components used. Sondigo is a Vancouver, BC based company founded by the guy who developed Dolby Headphone and was an executive at C-Media Labs (The two major tech contributors for this card). It uses the same chipset (Oxygen HD) and has the same features as the card I wanted originally: The Auzentech X-Meriedian but its half the price. Its analog performance isn't quite as good (though still more than respectable), but It'd be going to waste anyway because I'd be connecting it digitally to my receiver.
