Here's the new addition to my house: She was found in the bottom of a 6 inch vertical pipe extending about 3 feet below ground surface. She must have fell in when mother wasn't watching and couldn't be saved. I manage a water treatment plant and one of my employees heard her faint cry while heading to his job site on the other side of the plant. He could barely reach the bottom while lying on his stomach to pull her out. The bottom of the pipe had a couple inches of water. Luckily it had not started to rain that morning or she wouldn't have made it that long. Very weak and a slight case of hypothermia, but all is well now. We haven't yet decided on a name, but so far "Piper" seems fitting.
