Sony HDTV
Insignia Blu-ray hooked up via HDMI, working fine
Next time, picture but no sound
Reset Blu-ray, still picture, no sound
Hooked up Sony Blu-ray, picture but no sound
Reset the Sony Blu-ray player
Sony Blu-ray now has picture and sound
Re-hooked up the Insignia Blu-ray, now picture and sound

I am stumped! Anyone have any idea?:confused:

It Sounds like reciever was confused to me. These devices require a handshack between them. If ether do not have the proper information things may not work properily or at all. Because the reciever still retained info from previous BPlayer. The Reciever and the Blu-ray Player need to be rebooted like a computer in order to clear all memory. :D

P.S. if problems persist change HDMI cable or change input to digital coax input or Fiber SPDIF Input .
