Yup! and that too

But on a more serious note, I have very understanding neighbors and the community living sentiment is strong. They let me indulge my need for thundersous bass and roaring guitars, but I too make sure they are not disturbed (too much ). I put a post-it on my door that says, "Music too loud, call my cell" and as soon as someone calls, the volume gets turned way down right away. Also no reference level movies and music during "quiet hours"...

I am so glad my home is block construction and I am on the corner of my block. I have eight sub drivers in my main system and love clean deep bass. Watching "Master and Commander" is a full on sensory overload and I am so glad that once the doors and windows are closed, you can't hear anything five feet from the house. I once accidently left the windows open while playing a wargame and my GF who was four houses away, said she could hear the explosions and said it was like WWIII going off in my house. Man I don't know how I would handle it if I lived in a condo.

I guess i should set the record straight about the orignal post I was not saying that i crank it up all the time.I understand quit time. The apartment i live in has very thin walls and floors They know i have a ht sytem up here. I just have to keep everybody happy.

I used to live in an apartment complex with what I thought were pretty solid walls and floors. When I heard that there were complaints about me playing my system at night, that motivated me to buy a house. Now I can play my system as loud as I want. Muahaha.

I was in the proccess of buying a house late last year. When the ecomony when to hell I put off buying a house. I am kinda glad i did wait. Anyway I am hoping by the end of this year i should have something.
