Some Speaker / HT advice...

I posted here about a month back asking for comments to base a purchase on in trying to create my own 'do it yourself' type of HT setup to go with my wall mounted plasma and Yamaha RX-V659. At that time i was looking at some on-wall Paradigm LCR 330, B & W, and Sinclair Sculptura speakers and still to this point hadn't made up my mind on any.
Lately seeing the ads and forum testing as well as reading other testimonials on the SVS website on their SBS-01 surround system has made me wonder if something like that would blow away whatever I was trying to configure and wall mount in the way of HT and for some general music enjoyment as well in quality of sound - and yes I know that is asking for very subjective comments.
Anyone who has heard many of the current wall mounted HT speaker systems out there or who have witnessed the SBS-01 system in person, care to comment on how feel they do or would compare?
The SBS-01 system is available to me and not many good on-wall types are up here in Nothern Ontario, Canada, and although not as sleek in a mounting sense as the ones I was considering the SBS-01 sounds (if you can believe the press) like they may actually be much better sound-wise all around as a general HT and music combo - but I'm hoping some of you can confirm that from personal experiences.
Thanks for any and all comments - Randy

Sinclair

I have the Sinclair Audio Sculptura Series 5.1 surround sound speakers and they consist of 3 SC4's for the (F,R,L) and 2 SC2"s for the rears and the LS210 sub woofer. I have them connected to my Onkyo TX-SR805B Receiver and to be honest these speakers KICK ***!!! I had seen the 2005 series connected in Top Choice Electronics in Woodbridge, Ontario and fell in love with them when I heard them connected to a basic Onkyo receiver watching King Kong but I didn't know they would sound this great being the 2007 speaker lineup with the NEW Onkyo TXSR805B Receiver which by the way is an awesome receiver even at $1500 CA. Whether you are listening to Andrea Bocelli, 50 Cent, Arabic, Afghan or Indian music or want to hear the true 5.1 in King Kong or Superman Returns this system rocks!!! I wasn't too impressed by the SS1 or SC2's being used as the fronts or center of a home theater but I guess it would depend on you room size and all those other factors but paired with a powerful receiver like the one I have you will get the best out of these speakers.

called Bleekers. I talked to a salesman about their tower speakers because Sinclair is a Canadian company. His synopysy in a nutshell was that they are an average to good product in terms of sound quality. I can't comment on his statement because I didn't have time to audition them. From what I saw, the build quality is fairly good for what you pay. Its worth for you to audition them and draw your own conclusions. Good luck
