Sorry I know it is a long post...but any advice would be great!

What I want to achieve:
Four speakers, two in each room, powered by one amplifier that I will then connect my laptop to so I can play my mp3 collection.
The situation currently:
Each room has two cat5 cables coming back to a central point. Currently there are no connectors on either end of the cable.
This is what I think I need to do:
In each room I need to put speaker jack connectors on each of the cables. At the central point, where all four cables run back to to, I need to put connectors on the cables that allow me to plug them into the amplifier. This is where I get confused. Do I need a speaker switch box? Or do I connect the speakers in parallel or serial? Below is the spefications for the speakers and amplifier (yes I know it is all super budget stuff). The other question I have is can the cat5 cable connect to the speakers given they are Spring Terminal Inputs? Sorry to ask so many silly questions, I have been reading heaps on the internet and it has just all got really confusing....

I will appricate any advice, cheers guys!
