Hello everyone!
I've always been more of a headphone guy, but now a friend of my parents said I could have these old Wharfedale Diamond 6R's. So now I basically have two questions. First of all, I literally can't find anything on these things, so does anyone own/know these speakers? If so, what are we talking about here?
Second of all, the casing for one of the speakers is a bit damaged, so I thought it might be possible to build two new casings, but I know everything audio is quite precise. So what would you say, would it be possible to make new casings without compromising the quality?
Thanks in advance!

That damage looks to be only cosmetic, out of sight out of mind, I always say. But, if it really bothers you, you could try some wood filler, and paint over it. MDF is tough to work with it, and given the $ value of these speakers would be more trouble than it is worth. If wood working is you passion, take them apart and see what it entails

I love my Wharfedale Diamond's. I think you will be quite happy for what you paid for them:D
