sold my old system, time for a new sub

i finally sold my old 2.1 system for $25 so now its time for a good subwofer. i saw that dayton had some cheap subs and i was a little skeptical but after a few youtube videos, i think they are pretty good for $15. so do you guys think that would be a good investment?

That is just the subwoofer by itself - no box, amp or anything else. So unless you have those, I don't think you'll be hearing much from it.

I think the good bang for the buck ones that people talk about are the HT series like this:

Wow we are talking hi end here at $15. Just what are you trying to do exactly? Are you building a box? How much is your budget to spend on new speakers/sub?
