How can I play back an SD card containing 4-channel audio recordings in WAV format (2 stereo files from a Zoom H2 or from a SoundDevices 744 -- yes, I use a CF to SD adapter in the SD744) in quad or 5.1 via my surround receiver (Onkyo TX-SR705)? Ideally, I would like to put an SD card in the SD card slot of my PC laptop (HP Pavilion DM-1) and send the signal to the receiver via the HDMI output on the computer to an HDMI input on the receiver. Does some software exist that would make this possible were I to install it on the PC computer? I really want to do this on-the-fly and not have to "edit" my sound files to hear them, at least an initial pass. I think I'd prefer this to listening in stereo, which I can already do via this method using Audacity.
