Doesn't any one make a black DVD recorder?

I've been casually looking at buying a relatively cheap recorder. It's primary use would be for archiving certain shows that my girlfriend refuses to erase from the DVR. (which of course is silver, and in quarantine away from the rest of my equipment)

Nothing but stinkin' silver.

Can we once again get over this silver electronics trend and just go back to basic black?

Don't laugh. That suggetion has already been made. (Locally);)
Most of my stuff is already black, except for a cheapy digital set top box.

However, I've actually seen a relatively successful attempt at the colour change. Rather than using paint, he went with "contact", which is a roll of adhesive backed polymer film. With a quillotine and good knife to cut the appropriate holes, is actually looked pretty good. The fact that you had to know the gear to operate it afterwards (no more pesky labels!) was a bonus, in his opionion! :D

By locally. I mean my girlfriend. (bless her heart). She wasn't actually serious. (I don't think)
I started this thread not so much out of frustration for not being able to find something in black, as there are a few available, but more as a commentary of the "silver" trend. I just don't get it.
