..and my pea sized intellect is immediately at DEFCON 1!!!
Must.. do.. something.. to.. Resist This alien invasion :0

So, the next night I go into my box O' tricks and pull out an old Boston sub-sat six , Apple TV and griffin 20 and set it all up in her office. Even had had some amazing spotify music playing when I demoed it for her. I must say that this system sounded STUNNINGLY good to me, to her, the only remark was that she could see the 4x8ish speakers and the stands they were mounted on!!
She did admit that it sounded great BUT ..

So, I grab some old 2.1 harman kardon computer setup, plug it in to her crap-pola AIWA boom box, and she's happy

I'm not new to the WAF Effect ,but this one had me scratching a hole in my head..

Anybody else have a story to share- misery loves company
Cheers, Mac

Dude, I've come to realize some people just can't hear good audio. Only recently have I gotten the wife to recognize good audio. Previously to her, speakers built into a TV sounded no different than high end headphones. Most people, I believe, simply listen to audio as background noise without appreciation for the details.

When I brought these huge Tannoy Jaguars home my wife said these ugly things are not staying. I was debating about keeping them at first and then I did decide to hook them up and my wife said wow these things sound great, these sound better then your towers. Well, they're a keeper and not another word was said.
