Well... I guess it's old news... 2008... Got those late in Canada.
So there was watercooler talk about a fight on a reality show. So I googled it, and was stunned at the fact that there seems to have had no repercussion to what seems to me be aggravated assault caught and then aired on TV.
graphic footage here... Now I don't really know the details, who's the biggest punk, who started it, etc... But it appears to me that 'Chad' throws the first punch. Well, he's the only one throwing anything. And well, actually, the first shot isn't a punch, it's a headbutt. The other guy, 'Bo', seems to be telling him something, then 'Chad' pushes him, walks up to him, gets in his face, then headbutts and then throws a punch. The punched guy, 'Bo', takes the cheap headbutt and the punch, but doesn't retaliate.
So right there, my reaction during the discussion was he must have gotten arrested and then charged. He actually broke some teeth and the guy's jaw. But no. He wasn't arrested, he was simply allowed to walk out of the show. How's that possible with a whole crew on scene and so many witnesses? I don't know... You'd then think that when the show aired on TV, someone from law enforcements would see it, or be informed of it, but again, no... The
punk even brags about it on film to an idiot on youtube...
How is this possible? You'd think the authorities would make an example of this guy, and show whoever is watching reality shows (I'm guessing younger easily impressionable folk) that violence does not go. But no! Nothing!
And during my googling, this came up, 2009:
"Chad Tulik recently arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend". Well, whodathunkit? Violent punk beats up someone else... What a surprise... The worst is that I bet that the bimbo had watched the show... But anyhow. One has to wonder, had he been arrested and charged for his assault, and sent to jail for a couple of weeks/months, that might have cooled down this idiot and might have prevented the girlfriend beating... Who knows... And how many other fights did this punk get into/before the show?
It pisses me off that violent morons are walking around and can act as they want without any repercussion from the judicial system. Even when caught on tape, aired around the world, nothing! Really, what kind of example is that? Reading the comments
here is absolutely mind boggling. I know that most people are not too fast, but man, the audience for this Tia Tequila show is way worst than I'm comfortable with...
A couple of years ago, a nutjob randomly punched a woman in the subway and badly injured her. She was disfigured, required facial reconstructive surgery and was in the coma for 2 months. The first sentence was: "
sentenced to two years to be served in the community". Luckily, it was overturned, wasn't able to find how long he actually spent in jail, probably just a couple of months and then was released for 'good conduct'.
