So....I bought some speakers.

Yeah, from what I've read the sensitivity of the RC-70s is a bit over stated. Probably closer to 88db. But they only dip to 4ohms at a couple of points. (I forget the frequencies).
I think my Emo LPA-1 will be up to the task. If not; how do you spell XPA? ;)
I didn't notice you had the LPA. That thing is rated for 210w into 4 ohms and stable so you should be fine. The rc70 impedance dip spans across the lower mid range to 1 khz if I remember right. The electrical phase graph looks good though.

Congrats on your new toys Nomo! :)

IIRC, Clint wrote a while back in here about speakers break-in and it seems the AH "official break-in period" is about 10 secs...

Matter of fact I've never worried about it with all my previous speakers, though.

Great choice on the speakers. My aunt has a set of these and I've gotta say they're fantastic. From my experience all speakers have some level of break in, just a byproduct of manufacturing.

Well, they say not to use synthetic oil to break in engines, so it only makes sense to avoid techno when breaking in your speakers :D
