Yeah, 98% of my blurays come from amazon.com...another 1.5% from amazon.co.uk, and the rest come from assorted other places like frys or walmart if they have really good sales

My in-laws went crazy. My mother-in-law bought like 3 flat panel TVs, PC, stereo system, BD player, iPad, etc. She asked me to set up the systems for her.

I said to myself, "Why the hell didn't she ask me before buying crap like Bose and sh!t ?"

Ordered a new laptop for myself. A current model i5 processor + SSD should represent a pretty decent upgrade from my current POS (which to be fair, was just a slight step up from a netbook in terms of size and speed for about the same cost).

The old Zenith 32" tube set (the last one remaining in the house) finally died last week, so on Black Friday, we ended up going to Best Buy and picking up a UN32EH5000 for $327.99. Nothing huge.

He was a guest a few months back on Chris Hardwick's "The Nerdist" podcast. Pleasantly surprised to see that the humor from "Good Eats" was actually mostly his influence. He's funny, even without a script.

Anyway, black friday/cyber monday is over, but I ended up ordering a bunch of ps3 games I'll probably never play, a cheap GPU for a friend (gigabyte 6670, he's upgrading from an nvidia 7300le or some poop), a new router (asus rt-n66u to replace a netgear wndr3700v1), and a new home phone.
