Yes, beautiful machining for which SME has always been renowned.

These days machining standards for most consumer products is abysmal. The West needs to get back to quality. It is nice to see that in some firms no quarter is surrendered to sloppy design, construction and execution in the name of short term profits.

That sort of place is where every neophyte engineer should be sent!

My wife and I spent two weeks in southern England last autumn, but this sightseeing opportunity didn't make the final list (along with my long list of London record shops)-she insisted that The Tower of London, Stonehenge and Hampton Court Palace were much more significant sights for us to see.
