On Palladia right now.

New drummer. Guy is very young, but is very good.

If you are late to the thread, just check Palladia for the next showing.

Despite the drummers skills, I didn't enjoy the show.

I was into Smashing Pumpkins in the early 90's, mostly the Siamese Dream album, but just couldn't get into this show.:(

i was at a GUNS-N-ROSES concert YEARS ago. i forget who the backup band was supposed to be, but they didn't play. an announcement came on saying that the backup band wasn't playing. and that there was this "new" band that was to fill their place. called the SMASHING PUMPKINS.

we all looked around saying, in one way or another "WHO THE HELL IS SMASHING PUMPKINS !?!?! this band has to suck.

they started CRANKING Cherub Rock.

we were like :eek::eek: this kicks *** !

about 1 month later they were famous.

I have seen two bands the same way.

I saw a free concert when Train was touring for their first album. Got all the members to sign the cd I bought at the gig. Pretty cool. The next thing you know, they hit it big. Too pop for me, but it's a cool story.

I also saw Sevendust with about ten people. Unbelievable. A year later, they were all over MTV.
