Small Stereo Amplifier?
Hey everybody---I'm new to the forums.
(I'm editing this post to make things a bit clearer...)
I am in need of a stereo amplifier. A really small one. I'm looking to put the amplifier in my PC case, to save room on my desk at college (And to reduce the amount of crap I have to haul back and fourth between semesters).
I have decent speakers that I want to continue using, so I don't want to replace them with active speakers. My current setup is this:
Computer > 100W Aiwa 3-CD receiver.
I do want an upgrade from the stereo amp that's in my Aiwa system. It's a decent low-consumer level product, but I'm getting pickier. My new cans for mixing and listening are the Sennheiser HD-515's.
I recently found this:

But I don't know if it will be enough power.
I build and modify computers, and I do not mind doing modifications to any receiver I get, so long as I can fit the parts into my computer's 5.25" bay. I have two available so I can run it double-height as well. I have power supply and cooling requirements under control---my only issues are size, and price. I have around $200 to spend on this project of mine---I can go higher or (obviously) lower.
Thanks!
