Small/medium sized room

I'm in a house where the walls seem prety thin, I wanted to know how I should set up my speakers/subwoofer, where I can enjoy the dobly benifits.

My surround right sits ontop of my desk which is smaller than my armwar where my left surround is

I have an enterain ment unit that is slightly smaller than the desk and armwar(dresser)

And my subwoofer is hidden in a corner on the right. I have a full bedset that takes up most of my space.

My room is a long rectangular.

Welcome to the forum!

I suggest that you check out the "Tip & Tricks" menu that is on the top menu bar of the main Audioholics home page. There are several sub menus with some good topics.

In particular, I think that you'd benefit from the speaker set-up guides and the guides to getting good bass.

If you have any other questions, just let us know!

If you can get the sub out of the corner - it will usually help smooth the bass response in the room. If you could post a sketch or a link to a sketch of the room, that would help us better visualize the situation.
