Ok I got 5.1 current setup in a 10x12 room. Onkyo 585 receiver. Polk signature series speakers. S60s, s35 and s15s. Svs pb2000 sub. Sounds good... But now I see kef q150s for 300$... They look nice . Would take up less room maybe. Maybe I could sell the s60s...they were 500 for both on Groupon...are the kefs better than the s60s in a small room with the svs subs.. or should I be happy and slow my role? Damn I gotta sell some speakers. I also got the Polk t50s and t30 that were my first setup. Lasted 5 months before I had to upgrade.. 100 bucks each. Oh and the whole definity tech pro cinema 600 system I got used at best buy for 200

In a small room the bookshelf/sub combo could work quite well, particularly to save space. Whether you'd like the sound better, hard to know.....any way to bring the KEFs home to compare? For the long terms I'd say make significant speaker purchases rather than just changing them out for slightly different setups. Will your setup always be in that small room?

I could get them from best buy. After I took some stuff back a couple times they became very unfriendly and rude, so I'd rather stay away though. I'll probably just stick with the towers. I can't give them much space but hopefully there will be a bigger room down the road. It looks like there isn't a very good market for Selling used speakers anyway.
