Slappa CD Storage Recommendation

I won one of the Entry contests run by Audioholics. (Many thanks, guys!) I won a $25 gift certificate for Slappa gear.

I put it towards a 50 buck piece...which arrived today. It is gorgeous, the best made of its type that I've seen, and just up my alley for storing hundreds of concert cds. These things are well worth getting if you need storage units. Highly recommended.

I'm inclined to agree. I got the 40/80 model and filled it up quickly. It's a great piece. Looks nice, holds both covers and discs, and protects everything inside well. It's well worth the price (which isn't even much more than a Case Logic or whatever).

rjbudz, I did the same as you: put the $25 gift certificate towards the $50 case. I just got it today. (And the same case, which I won in another audioholics contest some months ago, also came today!) I love the suede exterior of the Camel case -- very cozy.

At first, I really liked the idea of having the rear pocket for the CD booklet to let you know which CD is in the front pocket. But I'd rather fill up the case with just CDs and not booklets, which means I now have to check each individual rear pocket for the CD I'm looking for. Unless I alphabetize the whole thing, I guess.

But I love the sturdy construction -- it really looks like it could stand a pounding. And they included a little cleaning cloth for discs! What a nice touch!

This is a great case -- I will definitely be ordering from Slappa again should I need another one of these babies.

You put the booklet in the REAR pocket? I put it in the front so I can see it through the plastic and know which CD it is I"m looking for. To each his own.

Oops! My bad. No, I would put the booklet in the front. What I meant was, I'd rather put CDs in ALL the pockets, but then I wouldn't be able to see immediately what's in that rear pocket. That's the one weak area of the Slappa case. Other than that, it's mega. Got one for my girlfriend too: she ADORES it. Got myself a few points on THAT gift!
