Simultaneous Subwoofer/LFE Connections

Here's a question for all of you Audio Gurus:

My Def Tech BP-2002TL main speakers have powered amplifiers built in. RCA connections on each speaker include: 1) an LFE input terminal and 2) a full-range, subwoofer input terminal.

My Sony DA4ES receiver has matching RCA outputs: 1) an LFE output terminal and 2) a full-range, pre-amp output terminal for the subwoofer.

Is there any problem with connecting BOTH the LFE and the subwoofer pre-amp outputs from the receiver to the matching inputs on my main speakers?

Oh, yeah! If I do this, I also planned to remove the jumpers that connect the speaker subs to the regular line-in driving the tweeters and mids. Thus, the subwoofers would be driven soley by the LFE (mainly movies) and subwoofer pre-amp out (music).

Thanks in advance!
