Why can't I have this feature? WHY?!?!?!

I want simultaneous output of independent sources to TWO HDMI OUTPUTS! For example, HDMI_Out1 outputting HDMI_In1 XBox360 to one TV while HDMI_Out2 outputs HDMI_In2 NMT to another TV!

WHY!!!!!! GIMME NOW!!!!!!

No, when I was researching for AVRs the 5308 was reported as incapable of what I specified. The only product that mentioned the capability is the Emotiva XMC-1 from what I was told.

Are these TV's in the same room?

I could see how this could get complicated when spliting the audio to the amps....more on the setup end I guess.

No.

Basically, I want an AVR or pre/pro that has HDMI Out for Zone 2. Really that simple. Every device with dual HDMI out can only output the same source, like a direct view TV and a projector for people that have arrangements with both.

If I connect ALL of my devices with analog connections, sure, I could get an AVR or pre/pro with Zone 2 Component output. That's just not what I want. I like my devices connected to HDMI. :D

Sounds like you would need a professional distributed A\V setup for that.....would be nice to consolidate everything though.

Eventually I would like to do something similar I think and get all my gear into one rack in the basement. I guess I'm half way there.

The more I think about it, the more I may just do the analog connections. The problem is, my NMT device doesn't have component output. *sigh*

NMTs are SO FREAGIN CHEAP I may as well buy a second one for the second zone.

Thats what I do man. I have a C-200, and a couple M34a's. At $140 a pop they are an extremely cheap option that will even do HD Audio passthrough or donmixing. Have you looked into any jukebox software yet?

This is what my interface looks like on every NMT in my house.

I need to change mine. I hate the stock interface. I'll check it out later.

Yeah, krzywica is your man....

He setup my stuff and it is awesome.... PCH's and NMT Server makes for a very nice interface...

There's a thread here that may help, can't post the url (yet), but if you Google "hdmi output a/v receiver dual" you should find it.
