Sick Receiver

I have a Yamaha RXV-2095 receiver. The right main channel is louder than the others and emits white noise with the volume turned down. Any recommendations on what to do or a good repair shop.

Has it always done this or just recently? I seem to recall that you cannot set the left and right speakers individually with speaker level adjust, so it may be that something is going wrong with that channel. Just for kicks, did you check the L/R balance? Did you swap speakers to make sure it is the receiver?

It did this once before about a year ago and can't remember exactly what I did to remedy (probably unplug the unit). You're right that the front main speaker level cannot be adjusted. I tried unplugging the unit to reset the processors, adjusting speaker level and balance control and swapping speakers. The problem is intermittent though and seems worse after the unit warms up, but is definitely the receiver.
