Should I Re-Run Calibration?

This may be a stupid question, and forgive me if it has been asked already. If your HT speakers were brand new out of the box, when you had initially ran YPAO on a Yamaha receiver, and speakers are said to "break in" or "open up" after a certain period, should you after a few months of this break in, then re-run YPAO, and also, if you have added a new piece of furniture to the room in addition to the existing furniture that was there when YPAO was first run, should you re-run the calibration? Thanks in advance!

Speakers don't break in (IMO, they do, but not so much that the sound will be dramatically different). If you re-run it three times the same day you will potentially get different results, so I usually run it a few times and see what it does.

Seriously, I have no life.

Well, you did break into that box and opened it up, so you are good to go. ;) :D

Speakers do break in however... sonically the difference calibration wise would be minimal over the years. However, adding furniture or carpeting to the listening room would be an absolute reason to re-calibrate. Do it !
