The Audio/Video boutique where I am purchasing my system from e-mailed me yesterday, and said he has the new Mitsubishi WD-73727 : 73" 1080p DLP™ HDTV on display.
This is the moment of truth. My new system is within my grasp. I'm at the edge, and I'm ready to jump. I lost my house to Hurricane Frances last year, and had to rebuilt it. I have been waiting since March to put my Home Theater together. And because I've never had a Home Theater set-up. I've been waiting a long time for this.

My concern is this. With all the talk about the new sets "NOT Accept and Display an Input Signal of 1080p".

WHAT SHOULD I DO????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I don't want to purchase a new technology set, and in two years Blu Ray or HD DVD come out, I'm back in the dark because my television will not display the new technology. I would rather use my old 60" Mitsubishi for now, if that's what I needed to do, and wait. I don't want to wait, but would if I had to. And what is everyone going to do with their older sets if this is a problem? Is this making sense?

Mazersteven just out of curiosity, where are you located in Florida? I'm in Vero Beach and you must be relatively close if Frances caused that much damage. I've been looking at that very same TV.

I am located in the lovely city of Melbourne.
Look at my house in webshots under "Home Again"

Hey, where are you going to get that set? I've got a good guy to work with if you need someone.
