Klipsch RF-711
Klipsch RC-6411
Klipsch RP-250S
I can get 2 Klipsch R-12sw subs from a online dealer for $599 retail is $899?

Makes no difference as to any kind of matching necessary, except perhaps for aesthetics. The R-112SW would be better....but costs more. The R-12 is $359 each at Amazon for the wired version, so at least the price sounds good....or is it the R-112 you're looking at?

So is the Klipsch sub a good sounding sub or is there something better I should consider?

I don't know how this particular version measures/performs. I have an older Klipsch RW-12d and for the $300 I paid new it was about right; don't know how similar they are but it had a cheap plastic grill that can make funky noises by itself, and even when off at higher output levels it chuffs a bit. If you can swing the money I'd look at SVS, Hsu, Rythmik or Power Sound Audio. For $400 each there's the RSL Speedwoofer.

That RSL Speedwoofer was one of Audioholics' picks for product of the year. Gene was very impressed by it. I agree with HD, if you can swing it, they would probably far out perform the Klipsch. I had a pair of RPW 10's and the SB1000's I'm using are much better. I'm thinking the RSL is in the same league, if not a slightly better sub than mine.

I was considering the speedwoofer they are out of stock but should get more in next week or the week after. My room is 14x23 was thinking 2 speedwoofers on in each front corner so the sound is equal for both of us or is that necessary? I can get this one for $675.......or the other speedwoofer with $25 of the wireless transmitter.

The main reason for multiple subs is to smooth response at more seats, so if you're after better response in multiple seats it's probably better to go with multiple subs but it depends on your room (and does your wife care if she has as smooth a response as you, or is she the real basshead in the family? :) ). Putting both up in the front of the room may not be the best locations for best response either...
