-Point taken guys... but no promises (I have to live here until June, when I graduate, and need better sound asap).
-I'm very curious about integrating a sub with my system. Currently the PSBs can't handle everything I throw at them on the low end... I realize they weren't designed to handle a full range signal, and I also realize that my receiver may be part of the problem (been looking at the Yamaha RX-V659).
newb question:
-I have a M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card on the way (yeah the old E-MU APS is finally retiring). Can I run 1 set of RCAs to my reciever and turn the low pass filter on (to give the psbs a break), and then run another set from the M-Audio to a powered sub? If so, could this solve my problem? My computer is my listening source 99% of the time, so if I could make this work, I could probably hold out for a long time.
ALSO
I have a Marantz EQ-10 equalizer. Should I throw this into the mix?
