They applied tax to me in CA, which I wasn't thrilled about, but after a little mulling over, it still seemed like a good deal. I ordered yesterday, and IIRC the 10% discount was applied during checkout. The points thing? I've no idea man.

Only $20 more would have got me a new 705, but even just as a pre/pro in my rig, I figured I wanted to try Ultra2 and have the BurrBrowns.

Is shipping free? A little observation -- I have been looking through their website for a couple of weeks now. I have seen lots of 605 and 805 but no 705.

I believe ground shipping was free. Other options cost.
